About Taurian Engineering
Taurian Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (TEPL) is a part of the Taurian group companies owned and managed by the promoters, the Bajla family. Taurian Iron & Steel Co. Pvt. Ltd. is the flagship company of this group.
TEPL was originally incorporated in 1999 to Import, export, manufacture & market leather articles. Following globalisation, the company promoters decided to diversify & restructure the entire group. They chose to move from TEPL’s business of trading leather items to Manufacturing & Marketing of Crushing & Screening Plants for mining and aggregate industry in 2005.

Director
He recognised the need for backward integration when the Taurian group diversified into mining and management of Crushing plant. His vision was instrumental in setting up a manufacturing facility meet the engineering needs of the existing mining plant.
With his expertise in production and crushing of Iron Ore & mining operations, Taurian Engineering become one of the best crushing plant manufacturers in India. Taurian Engineering has received safety awards for almost every year of Mining Operations since its inception.

Amith Bajla
Director
He is the in charge of administration, HRD, MIS & internal controls of this company.
He ably handles complex operations and put checks and controls in place with reporting systems to fix responsibilities and relieve bottlenecks. He has also developed a software that has simplified accounting for the company and setup systems to connect the Mines and plant in Jharkhand to Head office in Mumbai making data transfer easy.
Amith Bajla has a LLB degree from the Indian Law School, Pune and a L.L.M degree in International Business Law from London School of Economics.

Operations
TEPL setup its base at Gurgaon, in the Indian state of Haryana, to manufacture State of the Art Mobile Crushing & Screening Plants in February 2005. The manufacturing activities & commercial production at Gurgaon Plant started in October 2005.
To augment the manufacturing capabilities and technology, TEPL engaged the specialized services of Astec Aggregate & Mining Group, U.S.A., a world leader in manufacturing mining and aggregate machines with an annual turnover exceeding US $ 2 billion, in technical, manufacturing and marketing areas. TEPL started making world class machines with the Astec Group and the promoters experience, knowledge & expertise in the area of mining, aggregate Industry and logistics.

Taurian Engineering – Roorkee
The New state of Art factory at Roorkee is producing around 6 Plants per month of higher capacity Mobile & Stationary Crushing & Screening Plants. To reduce the cost of production, TEPL has installed imported Machines and is backed by CNC Machine Shop, Torch Center, Automatic Press Brake & Profile Cutting Machine and has deployed Professionally Excellent, Experienced & Committed Work force.

Growth
In a short span of 1˝ years, TEPL has made a deep foray into mining sector, particularly in the iron ore sector in Indian state of Orissa, becoming the fastest growing & most respected company in the Indian Mining Industry.
TEPL’s most popular plants are the "JUMBO” Series Crushing & Screening Plants, and the "STALLION " Series Screening Plants and which have provided the best value for money to their clients.

Facilities
Operations were moved from Gurgaon to Roorkee to a larger facility, to meet the increasing demand for TEPL’s Crusher & Screening plants in March 2007.
An additional factory is set up at Roorkee, Uttarakhand approximately 200 kms from Delhi at a sprawling 80,000 Sq.ft. plant which started commercial production in August 2006. The Roorkee factory is situated in an industrial zone enjoying Tax Holiday for a period of 10 years under Income Tax & Excise and benefit of Concessional rate of Central Sales Tax.
